thinking years ago when i was buying a panny i had an option of a 50hz tv or a 100hz,looking at the 50hz the picture was not as sharp as the 100hz and that was on scart,is his tv below par with todays ratings, worth a try on another tv?

I know you are concentrating on the 30hz / 25hz option but please like someone suggested in a earlier post, change your hdmi cable, doesn't have to be expensive gold plated one a cheap one will do, I am asking you to do this because no one else has reported a problem like you are having and once you have tried this let us know if it made a difference.
