As they are in effect a clone of the Vu Solo you should be able to load any image available for the Solo

You have to set this up yourself unless you can find what is called a backup image with it already done for you which i doubt, have a look in the Dreambox and VU sections at all the tutorials

Once I have switched on openpli can i install autobouquets from the box? will it appear in the plugins list?

It's not available from their plugin feed, you need to FTP the .ipk file to the box and then load it.

For the installing firmware, it is easy. And you can install blackhole1.79.
Here is the steps:
upgrade IMAGE steps:
(1) download IMAGE(Blachole or OpenPli or OpenVix or other) to usb stick folder "vuplus". Do make sure the folder is "vuplus"
(2) plug usb stick into the receiver box.
(3) start the box, IMAGE will load automaticly. The front light will become red-blue-red-blue.
When the light be blue, then all upgrade finish. It take about 3 mins.
(5)Please turn off the receiver box, ta ke off the usb stick. Then restart the receiver box, all are OK.
