    Skybox F5 conflict

    Hi Guys,

I got a SkyBox F5, but I'm experiencing some problems.

I have a SKY HD box at the same time so from my dish I have 3 outputs. One goes to Sky + and another to the F5.

The issue is that some channels just won't work on the F5 unless I unplug the Sky + box. If the Sky + is unplugged then there are no problems but I am stumped on why this happens.

Just as a side note, there was no issue when I used the Skybox F3

I am using the latest FW for F5.

    Any one got any ideas.

    Thanks

Its a Known Problem with both receivers on the same LNB you either have to get the resistor fitted to lower the voltage for the F5 or disconnect the official box completely or get a new LNB and hope that works

Sounds like the "diode fix" might cure your problems. This seems quite common when using more than 1 box on an LNB. Have a look at these threads as well:-
