F5 skybox problem Puzzled ???

Rights peeps where to start ???

I have a F5 box here
Everything is setup as it should be ...Network settings...thepartwecannottalkabout...dish is perfect...Aj's channel list...the image of my F3 box (which works perfect).....

Here's where we hit the big Question......

FTA channels work perfect
most of the $ channels no signal or scrambled
The SNR is at 5% on most channels
Signal strength 43%

Go onto the sports channels all scrambled apart from the Irish channels & the new BBC channels ??

all firmwares i have tried from skybox.cc

Any idea's plz........

Before we all say its thepartwecannottalkabout its not
i have a F3 box which works perfect with thepartwecannottalkabout (so this part i know doesn't have a prob)
Aj's channel list (also works great on the F3)
The dish i lined up correct (otherwise the F3 would have a prob)
All network settings are correct & picking up the correct IP address & thepartwecannottalkabout (is online)

If i scan the TP (blind scan) most of the channels missing or have a problem
If i scan the TP (accurate scan) all channels are there and visable but no Fav's

I have uploaded 2 photo of the chips on the board are the solder points ment to be like this......

Looking at the soldering jobs on these boxs its quite amazing how they can work
looks like Stevie Wonder has done then (for the under 25's members (he was a blind singer )

omg at that soldering ! Sounds like a faulty box to me heck its even looks like one ! though cant say for sure as don't have a working F5 to compere it with

Are you using the F3 & F5 at the same time on the same LNB?

If so, try the F5 on it's own & see if you still get the same problems.

It may need the diode fix.

does not need the diode fix the f3 work fine the f5 has a bad problem by the looks of it

?50 per box at least Dick Turpin had the cheek to ride a horse & ware a mask

omg thats why i must have trouble with my f3 because i noticed the same as you when i opened my box up to have a look around and noticed blobs of solder across pins like that surely it cant be right i was told i only had 6 months warranty too is this right.
