Flashed Skybox F5 with USB to RS232

    Noob here,

After trawling the net trying to find info on flashing my apparently dead F5, using various loaders/firmwares etc and being told USB to RS232 would work, I finally managed it.

I've provided a link to the loader I used and the offical firmware I downloaded from Skybox.cc

    https://drive.google.com/folderview?...XM&usp=sharing

    https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B2ch...XM&usp=sharing

    What I did....

Attached the USB adapter to the laptop.
Attached the null modem to the adapter and to the Skybox(unplugged the Skybox)
    Started the Erom upgrade loader.
Selected the correct port, left all the other info as is.
    Selected the firmware, ticked bootloader.
    Selected next
Plugged the skybox in and let it run through the process.

    Result, fully working Skybox.

    Hope this helps.

If anyone knows of a better host for me to upload to so you have free access to the files, let me know. As I say, I'm a noob
