    Whoops, Scrambled Eggs

Updated the list last night and thought I'd done OK everything seemed to work a treat, hubby put box on this a.m. and everything is scrambled except for the FTA. What've I done......eeeeek!

Please can anyone give me any advice on what I need to do now, did see another similar post but there weren't any replies to it.

    Cheers

As the system used relies on at the very least three different internets functioning correctly it could just be one of them thats down.

Turn of the internet router for 30 seconds and then let it connect again. After internet has connected, restart your box.
If that does not do it, and all worked well the night before, then contact your supplier.
      Thanks

I only updated the channel list via USB.. I haven't done anything with the firmware. It's an F5.
I'll see what happens tonight re the Internet and router suggestions, is there anything else it could be before I contact my supplier.
thanks for the replies so far, think I need to set up notifications on my profile!

Hi mate i cannot see the box settings change if you just updated the channels list

Could be the router settings or the IP address but would guess no

Check if you know whats online

            menu/ccam/manage cam/ is it online/offline/login
check whether there is a green tick against it (you know what)
if not then press ok so there is then reboot the box

I would guess it's the you know what part **gift** that's causing the problems

You can check your internet by seeing if the youtube app works, you can also check where the gift is and see if there is a tick beside it if there is, is it trying to log on or shows as disconnected. In theory nothing should go wrong when you just update channel list but with the F5 a whole lot of things seem to go wrong.

                        Hiya,

I had similar problems when I first got my f5 set up. For me it was a case of rebooting the router, then the f5. Some channels may take a few seconds to descramble, now and again. They just get a little knotted up from time to time.
