annoying sound prob with my skybox

hi everyone im after some help/advice with a problam with the sound on my skybox . nearly every channel i watch i get a great picture but every 30 seconds approx i lose the sound for about 1 second then it is ok for another 30 secs and so on and so on like i said b4 the picture is great and i have no problam with it just this annoying sound issue any help would be great

it seems to only happen on hd channels

Try another firmware on the box but please remember to backup anything you wish to keep

Which Skybox model/firmware version is it?

Someone with the same box might be able to help?

If you have a usb stick in your box and the settings are set for live pause/rewind will cause this problem.

thanks to you all for taking the time to reply i have just looked and it was the memory stick like mahrkpat sugested i took it out and it cured the problam thank you
what do i have to do to cure this turn off the live pause ?

get an externally powered hard drive, this will sort the problem, the USB sticks take up too much power from the skybox

hi mahrkpat, sorry to hijack this post but I have same problem with f3.but therevis no memory stick in the box
any help would be extremely welcome.
