Hi, I was hoping someone could advise me, I have updated the latest channel list on my Skybox M3. But they are showing Fav Group 1, Fav Group 2 etc, rather than entertainment, Movies, Sports like before. How can I get that back? Thanks

I think you must have also upgraded your firmware for the names to change, you need to manually rename fav groups with remote the next time you upgrade your firmware you need to choose the save settings option.Comment

Menu.. 1st option on there says channels favs and delete all.. Choose favourites and then you will see the option to rename them. I think you press red button or favs button to select a group, then move into the middle and the option ar to delete the group or rename it. Select rename, press red to delete what is write.. I e group1 then type entertainment, press blue t save, then keep repeating till all done. Once you have changed them all they will stay the same when u update new channel list, they will only go back to saying group1 etc if you change the firmware. If it isn't broke, don't try fixin it..!!!

Stick the attached software on your box and all favorites will be named. If the channel list doesn't suit you can put another on.
When you see "Keepong DBS and Setting" select No.Attached FilesLast edited by DW190; 17 July, 2013, 11:55.Comment

I had a similar problem. I actually checked the "keep DBS and setting" reloaded the channel list. Exit by pressing "exit" and made sure I did a soft reboot and then pulled the power out and when I loaded up the skybox the favourite lists appeared.
Alternatively you can follow what other members are saying and manually change the name.Comment

Quite easy to find as you only have 4 posts so not a lot to work through:
