good upgrade from F5, must have good EPG

evening all, just a quick question, my brother's looking to get on to into this game but doesn't like the lack of EPG on the F5 and doesn't want to spend ?300 on the VU duo like im going to (he don't watch as much telly as me, he's got a life, ), can anyone offer a good box with good EPG around the ?100 mark, any advise welcome, thanks matt

For a start its not a good time to be getting into it for uk sky...but thats another story and could last a while yet...

Also i dont think those boxes have a weekly epg for skyuk..only now and next...

You can also buy original vu duos for ?249 delivered from reputable dealers...its a discontinued model the original vu duo but there is still stock available.

So the ?100 quid mark you are hovering around for a better box than the openbox is single tuner clone territory...ie vu solo clone or an icloud box..be careful where your mate buys a cloned box tho...

For a Budget of ?100 then your probably looking at something like either an Openbox 6000HD or a clone Vu Solo both receivers are identical and run the same images and will give you full 7 day epg but please be aware these are linux receivers and require a lot reading on the Enigma2 threads before you purchase so that you become a custom to how they work.

6000HD works out at around ?70 and the Clone Solo ?90
