    TOTAL NEWBIE

    Hi everyone,

I'm a total newbie. I'm interested in buying an openbox but was wondering:

where is the best place to buy from? If I have got a wireless router which isn't buy my tv, will this cause problems?

    whats the latest model?

    do these boxes get blocked?

answers to these questions would be great!

    thanks a lot

I don't think I'd need home plugs as my openbox will only be about 2 meters away from my wifi router? Am I wrong?

is there any openbox's which have wifi built in which will just connect to my wifi? Is Internet connection a necessity?

Many thanks for the replies, I really appreciate it.

Ok, I'll get a new Ethernet cable.

Could you direct me to the latest model and advise me if its as simple as plugging in and that's it?

                thanks once again

Not sure what the latest model the F5 is about 45 quid off EBay, you get what you pay for they not the best boxes in the world but they cheap. If it was me I wouldn't bother but that's me, There's a good setup guide in the red stickies top of section called Openbox guide. A child could set one up. Other than me popping round to set it up that's as much as I can say. All the info is on the forum, Andy.
