skybox help

Hi there,

Has anyone had any issues in the past once they have recorded a movie on the skybox and tried to play it through pc via usb stick and you get no sound, get picture but no sound only does with paid channels eg out you pay for on sky all fta works fine

Hi mate. Your lucky. I get bugger all. Everything is scrambled and the cccam keeps flashing login. Doing my brain in.. sorry i wasn't much help but but you could be like me. With nothing but freeview.. think I read somewhere that am audio codec might be needed for the laptop read it somewhere so worth a look if you haven't done so already

If its saying login someones using the same L**e
or its been switched off...your ip address at the other end is not registered

or try this

turn DHCP off restart the box
turn DHCP it back on restart the box see how you go

Thanks mate will give it a try when am back home. I have herd the n one is better than the c but new to this so not sure. Thanks for the info mate. let you know how it goes
