If you can get it working with a 3G dongle I would go for that and have a play about before you go away, I shared my phone wireless and connected wireless to it using the wifi dongle but it was a crap connection, saying that my phones a pile o poop, the reason I say use the 3G is; if you use a wireless dongle with the f5 the router has to be set up to allow it to connect, I had to make changes in the router security settings.. If it isn't ur router then I doubt they would let you log into it.
You could always take a laptop and connect to the router wirelessly then share the connection to your f5.. It's gunna be all trial and error until you get something working and you may just be better off enjoying your holiday and watch a bit of free to air stuff .
gud luck in whichever you try mate.
If it isn't broke, don't try fixin it..!!!

Hi M8, I also have an F5 and bring it to my caravan where I have got it working brilliantly, my first advice is ditch the idea of using 3g dongles or a gprs connection to your F5, having tried different network providers and all sorts of configurations I have come to the conclusion that the 3g network just cant support the box, its incredibly glitchy to the point that it isn't watchable, yes it will clear your picture and does work to some extent but it is just too glitchy in my opinion. I prefer to use the caravan site wifi, if your park is like mine and the site wifi requires a log in and password then you won't be able to connect the F5 box directly to the site wifi, I use a free program called virtual router running on my windows 7 laptop. I connect the laptop to the site wifi then run virtual router, this then creates a virtual router in my caravan through which I can connect my F5 and it runs really well, hope this helps m8.
