Hi Everyone I'm new to this I used to have a dreambox but have just purchased a openbox v8. Where do I obtain a TP_prog.dbs channel list from plus ~~~~~.ftg file.

Menu delete channel list reboot the box
once the box restarts you will have NoCH on the front of the box

Then load cwaites list then reboot......

What firmware is on the box

This is how i setup the channel lists up & never have a problem with either list cwaties/Aj's

I didn't reboot after channel list delete , just loaded cwaites list straight away. I'm guessing that's my problem ?

If you mean delete all channels in the channel edit tool then yes

Did you delete the old list off the box & reboot it before putting cwaites list on it ? then reboot the box again

Trying to sort a problem out with a friend's skybox v8s. He had been downloading from ajsat and was never getting skysports 1,2,3 or sky premiere (strange that he was getting premiere +1) . I then installed cwaites prog list and it recovered skysports 1 & 2 but still missing ss3 and premiere ?
any help very much appreciated.

Yes have a word with both yours and your Dads providers, its strange that they have gone off recently as none of these channels have ever changed (Frequency or SID), at least not changed since I took over the list in August 2014.

it's never done it before so i can't understand why it is now plus my dad has the same problem and he is on a different xxxx to me and a different internet provider as well

It looks like your man has setup his system to AJ's Channel list, I am reluctant to change the channels on the main channel list as these SID's appear to be the main SID's used by Sly, and for the majority of people they seem to work without a problem, I have therefore added the frequencies and SID's as Alternatives and can be found on the following channel numbers

1260 Sly 1 (Alt)
1261 Sly Sports News HQ (Alt)
1262 Sly Sports 1 (Alt)
1263 Sly Sports 2 (Alt)

They are also added to the end of the Favourites, these Alternative channels will remain on Future Channel list updates.

If you can speak to your men and ask them to make adjustments to allow his magic to work on CWAITE's list as well as AJ's then that would help a great deal.
