Sorry i'm a total newbie. The lad that put sky box f5 (i think its this number) in, is abroad at the minute. I am having trouble with racing uk on SLY channel. He has advised me by text that i will need to do a blind scan as frequency may have changed. Can any one give me a step by step idiot guide as to how i would do this. Thanks

welcome to dk josh42,have a look in the(red section called the stickys) its got everything you need for your f5,go to menu single sat scan,press scan channel(tv only) then FTA (free to air)= no, network search=yes, scan mode (blind scan) then press search at the bottom job done ,good luck and enjoy your stay at dk.Comment

I Hhave looked under the TP list and cannot find the new frequency for ESPN HD wich is 11585, currently mines on 11584 and still works??? also if i do a blind scan, what happens to my channel list? do it get removed? as i have sattv5 sky numbered one.Comment

Regarding the frequency sometimes its a digit out and makes no affect. With the blind scan nothing will change but it will add all the latest channels in a separate list but not in your Favs or other bouquets so no real change really but if you have the odd missing channel you can access it, Andy.New Members http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/fo rums/f5/forum-rules-2/ A Good Place To Start

when u say separate list, which list does it create... also i have sattv5 as showing all channells 1-1080+, i dont use favs as i know the numbers of the channels i watch you see. so will the new blind scan update my ''all satelite channel' list? or will i have to go to the new list for the channels that dont work ? if you get meComment
