skybox f3 keeps rebooting every 20 mins or so

hey guys just got a skybox f3 and every 20 mins or so it just reboots , ive loaded other versions of the firmware via usb but it is still doing it ? ive read somewhere that i can us rs232 or is that the same has using usb ? the box is fine if i dont enter a ................ but has soon has i do i just reboots has any one got any ideas or is the box faulty ?

also when i load some software it says mismatch ??

Have you had a look at either the official Skybox site for firmware or one of the clone sites as you could have either, By the sounds of it looks like its a Flash via Null Modem to sort it.

its defo the real deal , well i hope so i bought it from grax , and i have bought over 25 in the last month all work perfectly . when i download from the skybox site and put it in the box it doesnt find the file
so if i use the null cable will i need to use some form of upgrade tool ?

Cant believe your paying the Grax price for these they are dearer than Ebay for the F3's i told em on numerous occasions but they wont come down on price, check out satsecure at stockport way cheaper.

They are suppose to be official from Grax so the Skybox website holds the official firmware and also flash tool: SkyBox | SkyBox

i know ebay is cheaper but grax is handy , just connecting old pc up with 232

Could be over heating
try a ? land laptop fan under the box see if that helps
