How did i guess there would be a numpty in the forum.

Did i say it was just sky sports news??? FROM WHAT I CAN SEE IT IS SKY SPORTS NEWS, SKY SPORTS 2, SKY 1HD, COMEDY CENTRALX AND +1, A NUMBER OF MOVIE CHANNELS, BT SPORTS................ETC.

My channel list is 9 months old so i do not know how much the channels have changed apart from the above channels i mentioned which alone is a fair bit.

Please ask a question before accusing of someone being lazy.

AJ's list is NOT like you have posted.

You only get loads of Channel 4's at the beginning of a list when you do a blind scan. Are you performing a scan after you have added a channel list? If so, there is no need to. The point of a channel list is so that you don't have to scan yourself.

If you delete your current list & install AJ's, you will get 1 BBC1HD, 2 BBC2HD, 3 ITVHD, 4 Channel4HD...etc.

Thanks, it worked and it works well. All these years i have been accurate scanning after adding a channel list!!! i had no idea you did not need to do this.

AJ, sattv5 & the other channel list providers do all the hard work for us. Well done chaps!

The only time I do a scan, is if a channel has changed transponder & the channel list provider hasn't updated their list yet. Then I do a single TP scan on the transponder that the channel has moved to, to recover the channel.
