Morning all I am having problems with my SKYBOX F3 it stays on for about 20 min then reboots by itself , I have tried by Ethernet and by my sky dongle that came with the box can anyone throw light on this happening many thanks

sounds like you have either got a bad firmware on your box. you might need to reflash the box. was the box set up when you got it or have you done it yourself.

Might also be an overheating problem. Are the vent slots clear? Have you got anything else sitting on top of the F3?

i tried connecting it by internet plug no joy so tried my wifi dongle great connected after 20 min reboots all software was in box when I bought it just had to add my Cccam and sea lion I am very confused over this regards

Hi is the wifi dongle the official one or one bought off ebay ??
when you say connected to internet plug do you mean box connected to route via cable ???

if this is the case did you go into network settings & turn the wifi off & turn the ethernet on ??? if not the cable connection will not work until this is done...

also you may have to turn DHCP on & apply reboot the box & see what happens

i know this might seem daft mate but, are you using homeplugs,? if so make sure there into the wall not on an extension plug as this affects them, had me up the wall ages ago till i sorted it out, felt daft as it worked brillant when i did this
