Skybox F5 gets stuck on L095

hoping someone can can help me out, bit of a newbie so might be just me, tried to get some answers elsewhere but struggling with it.
my skybox f5 keeps getting stuck on l095 when it is turned on, if i switch off at the mains about 5 times it eventually boots.
Tried a firmware upgrade but doesn't seem to have fixed it.
Any body any ideas?

Doesn't seem like a firmware problem more like a hardware problem, try booting without the sat cable connected, if it boots up without any problem then look at your f connectors and make sure your cable is not frayed worth also to switch to a different output of the LNB to rule that out as a problem, otherwise you might have to open your F5 and look for dry joints or loose connection.
