Reboot the box by turning the power off at the mains.

How come? I seem to remember when I updated some settings that required a reboot - simply turning it off with the remote didn't do enough and that's why I've used the mains ever since. Is it true that cloned boxes will brick after so many power ups?

I should of said turn it off with the remote...then switch it off at the wall

otherwise you may need this thread Recover Dead Skybox/Openbox Flash Using Serial RS232 Null modem Cable because the box may crash
