    openbox s11 firmware

    do we have any upgrades to the latest firmware for the s11 as I don't know what firmware I have on mine.thanks

      If you look in the Menu > tools > information, then your firmware will be shown next to "version".

          If you are not having any problems no need to change firmware, don't try to fix what ain't broke my advice to you.

              its just that I get a lot of freezing when watching plus im looking into buying a new box what would you recomend

                  If your FTA channels have no problem more then likely the problem is either with your internet or the provider of your gift. If I were you I would just wait and see what happens in the next few months before investing in a new box when it is working the s11 is still a good box.

                      ive had the box a long time and spoke to my gift an that has no problems at there end im on fibre optic broadband so I don't see that as a problem but could do with trying a different gift its just looking for the right one

                          This has been discussed before Fibre optic Broadband means Jack if the quality of the line is crap in the first place the 'Ping' line quality is what matters here and not speed of download, on various occasions i have seen so called Virmin Fibre 100mb with a ping in peak time of around 280ms which is garbage.

                          So please get this idea that fibre superfast download is all you need it is not.

                              I know that dude but I just don't understand why I get freezing all the time whilst watching certain channels could you point me in the right direction for a great gift

                                  you wont find any on here sorry as it against form rules to discuss the subject end of, all i can suggest is this Google what you need and test,test,test until you find a good one
