Skybox F5 help

Ok I recently bought a skybox f5 and have it in my room. I had a multi room skybox with fta channels previously. I can recieve the free channels on the f5 but the pay channels come up as no signal but I have a free test line at the moment.
I have a sky+hd box down stairs so i brought the f5 down and plugged it in down there and all the channels worked even the pay channels.. So my question is how come it won't work in the room upstairs?? Anyone plz??

Hi mate welcome to the forum 1st of all a quick read of the might be in order....some of the words you use are not allowed on here...

I would say your problem is both the boxes on at the same time on the same lnb.....put the one downstairs on standby or turn it off
go upstairs & the box will work as it should

That works when I turn the one downstairs off. But what if I wanted to watch two at the same time??

Not sure mate but i'm sure someone on DK will answer your question
i think it has something to do with the lnb signal strength ....one takes the power from the other
