    2nd SkyBox F3, do I need a 2nd subscription.

Hi, I apologise in advance for my ignorance. I am very new to this all.

Recently got a Skybox F3 (Well my dad did) I was sceptical at 1st and think its a great job now. I found this site when updating the channel list and see that you can also copy the entire Image on the Skybox.

We have a holiday home where we also have a satellite dish set-up basically using an old Sky Plus box to receive FTA channels.

If I was to buy another Skybox F3 could I copy the image from our one at home and upload it to a new one via USB and keep it updated myself....or would I require a new subscription/"gift"...as I say, not sure how it all works? And wouldn't really be worth while to pay for a 2nd box unless I could maintain it myself?

Only if you want them both switched on at the same time.

You can have two boxes using the one gift provided you switch one off before switching the other on, or if you want to use it for free channels, disconnect the Ethernet cable or whatever means connects it to the internet. If as you say it is in a holiday home and your other box is switched off before you leave, no problems.

Some gift providers allow multiroom. Check with your provider.
