help need quick with no astra being found

Hi, can someone help.

trying to scan for sats and i was expecting to see 'astra 28.2' but there is a list of about 50 sats and none of them are astra of eurobird etc.

how do i manually add astra?

i read that you can add a channel list and do it that way but i have no idea what that means

please explain in laymans terms

using skybox f5 and sat5 channel list

Not bizarre at all, makes perfect sense, just think about it for a nano second

not really ive always scanned channels on the openboxes before. with this i just installed a channel list and it works, no scanning at all

Clue in the words channel list, that should give you an idea of why no scanning is requires

The channel list is more than just a list of channels. It contains all the transponder info needed to receive the channels without the need to scan. All neatly ordered & catergorised by AJ, sattv5, & other members to give us a respectable looking list.

Unlike the mess you get when you just scan for channels!
