    Screen burn when using SKYBOX

I've noticed that there is quite a bit of screen burn on my TV when using my SKYBOX ie menu options are still visible when I select a TV channel. They do disappear after some time or if I switch off and back on.

Does anyone else get this and can I do anything about it?

dont have it on the menu for so long.. does your tv not have the option to protect against screen burn?
If it isn't broke, don't try fixin it..!!!

also i think you may be able to turn down the transparency of the menu back ground in the settings.

It isn't 'screen burn' as such it's just that the screen seems to retain text from menus for quite a while after I have exitd from them. I don't know the technical term for it.

In oscilloscopes it's known as persistence. Not sure if the same term is used for TV's.

Does this only happen when viewing menu of openbox and nothing else like dvd player, other stb, etc?
