Mini wifi usb not working or been pickuped on skybox f5

Hi . I have skybox f5. I bought a mini wifi USB tp link but when I attached it to the box and change the setting to wifi. The box restarts but it does not pick it up. I have followed all the videos and how to set ups I could find but nothing is working. I don't want to buy a different wifi USB and have the same problem. I know there's is an official USB wifi but I'm just want to see if I can get the one I have to work.

My advice would be don't bother with the dongle there crap even if you get it to work the picture will breakup so much you will pull your hair out

go for home plugs or if possible run a cable to the box from the router

I use my phone as a wifi hotspot so home plugs would not suitable for me. I even try to connect the phone into the box but it would not pick it up.

Can you change your hotspot to WPA2 AES

Needs to be the right unit wont work with any wifi dongle.

I have Changed my phone to turn into wpa2, but that not the problem . The problem is that the wifi mini USB is not been picked up the box. I want to USB wifi to connect too . I need the box to read the USB wifi

The wifi adaptor needs to have the Ralink RT5370 chipset otherwise it wont work

I have used the mini one in your post with little problem. Once the box has connected usually connect ok after. First connection can be a pain sometimes having to switch the wifi off and back on.
