          Can it be stored in a file and saved? ie how can I copy a list of favourites and pass them on to someone else?

              The favorites list is incorporated into the channel list.

              You can dump the channel list onto a USB stick by going to the Tools menu & selecting "Dump by USB". Select "misc files" in "Dump mode" option. In the "select & dump" option highlight TP_PROG.dbs. Press green button on remote, then yellow. When done press info button to confirm dump was OK.
