    Skybox F5 pre-buy questions

Hey everyone I'm thinking of getting a Skybox F5 but have some questions before I dive in.

Currently I sky+ in my main room and a skymulti room box in my bedroom which feeds from the output of the sky+ box I want to replace the normal multiroom box with a Skybox F5 would this work fine?

Are you able to record using the F5?

Can you set reminders that programs are about to start like with sky?

Can you use the provided remote to work the TV?

    Thanks

    Hi Ashmo

I only use the F5 in both my rooms (bed / living) and both had Satellite cables for Sky already there, so was just a case of connecting the 2 cables.

The skybox is nothing like sky+, I am in no way trying to put you off, but you need a USB Stick / decent sized external hard drive to record and to the best of my knowledge you cant jump between program's while recording? The planner is simply now / next not like the Sky Guide. The remote works for the skybox f5, and I don't think there is a way of tuning it to your TV.

For what I want it for its ideal, although recording / guide are my 2 main downfalls - but it works well enough and that's what matters have a look at reviews on YouTube if you are still unsure that is what I did

    Hope that helps.

Ok cool does the USB have to be formated to FAT32 or anything? Max size?

      Cheers
