Skybox f5 and skybox F5S

Hiya can anyone tell me whats the difference from Skybox f5 and this Skybox F5S?

F5s lights up a bit brighter and is blue. me set up menu is slightly different, apart from that nothing noticable

f5 are no longer manufactured by skybox since tehre are too many clones on the market, the main difference is that the f5s has a new chipset and therefore requires a different firmware.

Very importent. I made the mistake and flashed on old F5 backup on my new F5s. No good!!!

I don't like F5S remote so use an F5 remote on the F5S.

depends how old your f5 is as some of the later f5 has the same remote as the f5s

The new remotes on the F3S or F5S are crap.............white lettering on a white background (whoever designed this remote needs a medal) and the
batteries don't fit properly and stop the remote from working!

they are the same remote controls as use to be used for the openbox s9/10/11's must of had a lot of old stock lying around

yes someone else posted it on here earlier today, you need to have a usb stick plugged in; he wrote the instructions down on how to do it

So, to eager to have the answer, I took my change. This is not working, the box throws an "Hardware Mismatch" error. I tried updating to SKYBOX_F3S_F5S_3601HD_CMT_13102406AE.abs using Lan Tool and USB.
