A few of us seem to be encountering issues when trying to record using the F5, so I thought I would outline the issues I have experienced and see if there are any fixes available
1) when a timer record is set and you are watching a different channel, the box will advise and change the channel to the correct one but will not start recording - why?
2) when there are multiple recordings set on the timer I do not seem to have an issue with them all starting - other have suggested that when multiple only the first one starts
3) I have used both a usb stick and an external hard drive, the 32gb USB stick seems to be fine and writes quick enough for HD (32gb usb 3 Lexar), the hard drive sleeps and then I think the box is unable to "wake" it hence it does not record
4) usually recording is OK, but as it seems temperamental its difficult to establish exactly what's causing the issues, storage, channel, timer?
5) leaving the box on standby seems to be fine it wakes up without issue
