hi i have just got the skybox f5s, and im reading on here about clones that fail. how can i tell if its a clone or genuine. also the picture freezes every now and again for a few seconds at a time or freezes with the $scrammbed sign for about 10 seconds, is this normal or is there anyway to solve this.

if it freezes on fre to air channels then check your dish, most likely it will only have problems on none fta so i would start by checking you internet, do a speedtest on speedtest.net, check the ping times on there.. if ping is high then thats ya problem (or your bb suppliers problem) make sure no one is watching online streaming/downloading/uploading causing it to freeze, if all those look fin then contact the person who doesnt live in ur house

hi thanks for the reply, my ping was 17ms, no one in house watching or downloading. as well as me gettiing the f5s my mate got one aswel and hes having the same problem.

nowt wrong with that ping mate, it's a good one. did they both come from same place & come with a gift

i would try a different one then mate. plenty of them offer a trial or contact them and see if they are having any issues. Can't really say much more on the matter as we will be breaking the forum rules and were already boarder line
