    recording on usb

    Hello can any1 give advice on recording to usb pen on my skybox f5 pls . ive bought a 64g pen thinking ill be able to record a few HD Movies on to it (Im think one HD film taking up 5g) but I record first film no problem but when I come to record the next film it says "no partition" can anyone please tell me where im going wrong many thanks

    Format the pen in you F5.

      I have found that SD recordings use up around 2GB per hour & HD recordings around 6 to 7 GB per hour.

      There are loads of fake 64GB memory sticks around. Have you tested yours to check it. There's a program called H2testw that will tell you if it's genuine.

      It's not made by Toshiba is it?

        No it's not toshiba bought off E bay! Maybe this is where a went wrong I will do the test thanks

          Hello can any1 give advice on recording to usb hdd or pen drive. when I connect any of them it just says "no partition" Some advise would be most welcome guys. I put a fat 32 stick in it just installs a folder which is empty, and 2 file saying test 1 test 2. Liverpool
