Your getting something that is deffo wrong as BBC1 should either show normal or display one of two things. 1 No Signal, 2 Invaid Channel.

You should always save the .................RULEZ............... to avoid losing them.

now when i go to scan accurate or blind it says moving dish, scans and then says no program found. could moving dish mean anything

It means that your settings are wrong in the Antenna setup menu. If you dont have a motorised dish, then the Motor Type should be set to OFF. Both DiSEqC settings should be set to Disable, & the LNB Freq should be set to Universal (9750-10600).
