a lot of members seem to have various problems with the wi-fi dongle and most would probably suggest the use of homeplugs rather than the wireless dongle, Your choice of course

wireless does work on them but you have to change a few options in your wireless router/modem in order to get the skybox to connect i find the best options are to change your wireless security to wpa2 psk (aes) and wireless channel set to (1) then it should connect first time

The settings would depend on which router you have.

Indeed prior to buying the F5S I also assumed that they had incorporated wi-fi. I plugged in the wi-fi antenna that they recommend and just like the F5 it works great. Have used Home Plugs. The performance for me is identical. However the stb is only one wall and 15 feet away from router. In my case I did not have to make any adjustments at router. Everything was done via F5S remote control.

Bit annoying saying its wifi when it's not. I've now ordered an official dongle.

                      Thanks for your advice
