hello new to site! And I have asked questions and people have replied (Thanks people) But I don't know if im doing it right I just reply saying thanks but on the left hand side of the screen it has info no how many times ive thanked and been thanked and it doesn't show up don't want to ignore the fact that people are good enough to help me can someone tell me where im going wrong ?? thanks in advance

The only way the forum software knows if you have thanked someone, is if you actually click on the "Thanks" icon (with the thumbs-up sign next to it).

This will display the name of the poster who thanked you under your post.

You now (currently) have "Thanked 1 time in 1 Post".

You should also get a notification at the top of the forums to let you know.

The thumbs up is like button, the thanks button is written 'Thanks' at the bottom of post you want thank if you see what I mean.

Good information from the above 2 members, Also please remember don't post Thanks etc.. just use the Thanks or Like Button

Sorry. I didn't realise that the DarkCore skin didn't show the Thumbs-up next to the word "Thanks".

I use the Default skin (which I find easier to read) which shows a Thumbs-up next to the word "Thanks" as well. Switching to the DarkCore skin, I notice that the Thumbs-up isn't shown next to the word "Thanks". Both skins show a Thumbs-up next to the "Like" button though.
