Using standard TV coax with Skybox F5

HI having recently bought a Skybox and using your site various threads have managed to get it set up and running perfectly well. However, for some reason my other half does not like a double core coax cable coming through loft and down into TV room, the room has standard coax cable for normal TV embedded in the wall and to prevent having to channel the wall and re decorate, something which is not allowed, can I use this cable if I connect it to the sky type coax at both ends ? the cable run is about 6 feet in the wall with normal aerial sockets at either end. Any help would be most welcome. Thanks Eric

you can mate but it has a higher signal loss than sat coax, and screening isnt normally as good, so yes but it could cause you some problems, just try no harm done i suppose
