How to switch off subtitle on SkyBox S11 HD?

Hi,

This is driving me nuts, cannot find no option to switch OFF subtitles\closed captioning on my S11 HD.

Can anyone advise?

Don't you mean openbox s11, anyway just press the subtitle button on the remote control, a small menu will appear and here you can turn to off.

oh, i thought openbox and skybox were different?? When I start the receiver it says skybox??? Anyway, my original remote is broken and using a universal one, sadly with no subtitle button. So was hoping it was somewhere in the menu system? or an alternative button??

Get the original remote for s11 on eBay for less than fiver and that will do the trick for you.

Then it's more than likely a Skybox F3 / F3s or F5 / F5s, the only s11 is the Openbox s11.

Some of the S11 were branded Skybox 11 and the firmware it came with booted up with the Skybox logo they were not clones but originals.

Its the boot screen that indicates Skybox so more than likely software has been updated from the original.

Some will remember the timebombs and "AnonomousX" software to overcome the problem.

Neither have I but as a precaution and to keep things simple it was easier to use Clone safe software on all s10 and 11s. Clon safe software I used had Skybox as its boot image.
