skybox f5 new channels scrambled

i am reasonably new to this box and after some reading i updated the channel. for about an hour they all worked but now the paid for ones are all scrambled, the fta ones work. i used ajs update 24/9/13, is there any reason this would happen with the update. we have had the box since april and was told it would last 12 months. is there away to check if the gift has expired and needs a new one.

Have you checked network setting and made sure DHCP is on

thanks for the reply and dhcp is on. if i go on the youtube app i can get the videos up but they wont play

Do exactly as I wrote and you will be up and running again, switch off your broadband and switch off your box now switch on your broadband again and Waite till your broadband is running well then switch on your box.

thanks, i have tried that 4 times and still no joy. looking at other threads i have checked if im online and did the following from a different thread "check if your online....menu/**an/config/scroll down to you know what/press ok on the remote/green tick will appear" the green tick is there but says its offline is that a problem with the other end or mine

Hi sound like the internet is not get though to the box

Go & switch DHCP off apply
reboot the box
Go back & then switch the DHCP back on apply
reboot the box

what colour is the light where the ethernet cable pulgs in ???
