4 feeds from one LNB, problem

Hi I think I am right on this but just need to check.. Can I run three cables from one LNB to a legal sky+ HD box and SkyboxF5? I am getting scrambled on some channels but not on FTA. Do I need another dish to run two cables to Skybox F5? I get 72% signal strength on all channels throu skybox F5, but get scrambled after 5 mins or so. Any help would be gratefully received.Cheers

Errr. You dont have two cable going into a F5. One socket is a loop through.

Shoiuld run ok but there has been one or two getting voltage errors running Skybox alongside Sky+ box. Just make sure your connections are clean and tidy with no outer strands floating aound.

i will say no just to be different as at some stage with providers box and a skybox the no signal might show up on the skybox and its a very commpn problem, may have to change make of lnb.

Channels on some F5's may be affected when running on the same LNB as a $ly+ box. This usually shows as "no signal" rather than "scrambled" though.

Try turning off the $ly+ box & checking if the channels start working again.

If there is a problem with both boxes on at the same time then there is a fix available on Ebay (Search for "no signal fix").
