Newbie F5 user needs info please!!!!!

Ok, I may be asking in the wrong place here but have flicked through this forum and cannot see the answers (or work it out cos I'm dim when it gets too technical)....... I have recently purchased an F5 box from someone that already has 12 month 'Gift' installed. I need some queries answered if possible please. I have linked up the F5 to my router and dish and everything seems to work ok but having read through some posts on various sites I need to ask the following please. 1, How do I find out the 'host' seller details so I can purchase another gift when needed or can I get one from anywhere? 2, If I understand correctly a CLine is the gift?, If that is right, what is a CCam? 3, The box I got has favourite channel lists already set up it seems, Is the SAT LIST the main list and Favourites just like sub folders? 4, The box I have only has BBC1HD/ITV HD, If I rescan will I be able to find the regional channels or will I lose my 'Gift'.? 5, If I download a channel list, will I lose my gift or will it just rearrange the channels on my box already? 6If a gift costs about ?40/50 then what are the things I have seen on e-bay for ?1.99 (firmware).? Sorry to ask so many questions on my first post but as I said I really am a technophobe when it comes to this stuff until I get the hang of it. Thanks for your time in reading this, If it is in the wrong place or oversteps the mark in anyway please accept my apologies...(",)

Alot of your questions cant be answered due to the nature of them ie Forum Rules. Take a good read of them and this http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...-guide-257009/ it will answer a lot of your initial questions. Never pay for channel lists or firmware. Always backup your image and the thing we cant talk about again its in the guide which is a broad spectrum to all skyboxes, Andy.

Ask the right questions and you will get loads of help but help yourself and troll through a few posts and use the search function. All the answers to your questions are there if you spend some time looking. If you get stuck post back but the guide has most things in there. Alot of good threads are at the top these are the red stickies. All channel lists and common problems are there to help, Andy.
