Sky F5 box internet conection

Hi All. Ive got a sky f5 box and i think its not connecting to the internet you tube wont work but it shows the listings channels are scrambled, Ive tried my mates f5 box at home and it works fine. can anyone help please..

Go into the network settings menu and make sure its 'active' with a green light and that the setup is set to DHCP 'on'.

Hi Mate ive tried that dhcp is on still no luck wont connect to the internet..

Follow this procedure
1.Set dhcp to off reboot
2.Set dhcp to on reboot

If you still have problems try rebooting your router too.

Has your mates box got the same firmware as yours?

If You Tube shows a list of headings, then it is connecting to the internet. Updating to latest firmware should also allow you to watch them.

Hi Mate the box which is fine is showing software ver:3601hd_27_03_2013_0794 and the one that dont work is showing software version:3601hd_31_10_2012_OB39

download the newer firmware and see if it helps..... extract the file, load it onto a pen drive and then upgrade using 'Tools' menu
