    Skybox f5 - no signal

I'm currently having some issues with my skybox f5 that I'm hoping you can share some advice on.

Since Monday my box has been displaying No Signal on every channel. The channel list on the box is AJ's and was working fine prior to Monday. Is the No Signal error likely to be a problem with my box or with the satellite setup? Unfortunately I'm on a communal flat system so I can't check the dish etc.

When I do a blind scan it finds 46 channels on four transponder frequencies. I can view these fine which makes me think there's no problem with the tuner in my box?

Is there anything further I should check before calling someone out to check the dish setup?

Thanks, I'll be able to get hold of another box at the weekend so will try it then.

I was just wondering if there's anything to try before.

Check the normal stuff like connections and new channel list. My mate had a similar problem but his snr was very low between 7 and 35 snr on most channels but his line of sight was the problem. Great bloody tree in the way. These boxes normally max out at 75 snr. See what you get on the channels that work, Andy.

Cheers mate, on the channels that work via the blind scan SNR is around 70% like you say. For the other channels (via AJ's) they're all below 15%.

It was working fine on Sunday so I'm not sure what's changed. I don't even know where the dish is to check if something is blocking the line of sight. There are 80 odd flats wired up for sky, the management company are saying it's only me complaining so that's why I'm doubting the dish setup.

My mate had some good snr even with the tree in the way depending on what transponders the channels were using. Skybox isn't the best for signal anyway. Pity you cant check it with an official box or take the box to a mates it will certainly answer some of your questions, Andy.
