hi there, i have a skybox m3 and i have lost all signal on sky uk, i hav a quad lnb and the other 3 receivers are working perfect, i hav hotbird on the m3 with sky through a diseqc switch, its connected to the internet all the time, hotbird is working ok but sky is telling me NO SIGNAL, any ideas what the fault could be. thanks in advance....OZ

Faulty DiseqC Switch. if you remove the switch and connect the cable from your sky dish directly to the skybox and test if it works.
remember to turn the power off your box when removing the switch, because if it isn't dead already then there is a good chance it will be if you mess with the connections to it without turning the power off -
i connected the sky dish straight to the skybox and it worked so i changed the diseqc switch and it wouldnt work again, i scratched my head for a few mins and looked up at my 90cm dish only to notice that the tinfoil that i had covering 19 east on a monoblock lnb had blown away with the bad weather we had, i covered it back up again and bingo all working again, sometimes the solution is literally stareing us in the face, thanks sattv5 for your help...OZComment
