could somebody please help a complete novice!! have bought a skybox f5s but have no idea how to even find and put firmware on usb! also cannot find Cccam menu on the box!!

yes thanks I have seen this, this is why I thought it would be easy!! have been on skybox site found the latest firmware but it ends (.rar) I don't know how to change to (.abs) file and then transfer it to usb, sorry I know this is probably very basic but I have no technical computer knowledge

download a wee program called 7zip from 7zip downloads - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com

use it to un-rar the firmware file then follow the guide.

Are you sure that it hasn't already got the latest firmware installed?

For the second part of your post, go to "network local setting" in the menu, then press 6666. Another option should appear in the menu!

hi thanks yes must be latest firmware because did the 6666 and put in details and it works so thank you.
