Hi download a channel list..Aj's or sattv5 list to usb

plug the usb in the box
menu/upgrade by usb/press remote right on the pad/upgrade misc files/choose TP_prog/click ok/press the yellow button/restart the box

The wierd thing is on my display, i have no menu selection, will not respond, just an image of ironman punching the ground.

i have used image SKYBOX_F5S_3601HD_CMT_1307040584.abs..

i have save channel list to usb, but pressing anything on the remote.. no display menu is showing..just the iron man picture?

Try flashing a different firmware via RS-232, did you back up your old image?

Thanks for coming back to me, i tried the re-flashing of the latest firmware ti no avail.

The reason updating the firmware from the manufacturers website isnt working is because that has a blank channel list as well.

1 Download the Skybox Lan Tool from this post and extract the folder to your desktop
2 Put the chanel list that you want to use in the folder
3 Click on SKYBOX F4_F3_M3_LAN_TOOL.EXE and wait for it to start
4 Put the IP address that the skybox uses into where it says BOX IP and click login
5 If you don't know what the ip address is of your skybox have a look in your router
6 On the left hand side under system you should see TP_Prog.dbs click on it so its highlighted
7 The arrow in the centre should have lit up now (pointing right) click on it
8 The channel list should now upload to your box and the box should restart

How do you set this up ie; do you set the box up to the router or the computer, i am confused

I am having the same problem and updating via lan tool shows I have channel numbers but no picture or menu

which does the same thing if you load firmware with no channel list.
a lot safer just to scan the channels yourself.

Has anybody got a fix for this" stuck on ironman and no menu" for the fxs range?
I tried a backup firmware from the exact same box, nope,all the various images, clone and original, all the various ways of flashing, still nope.
Anyone?
