SKYBOX F5S UPGRADE BY NETWORK OPTION

Hi there,

I am trying to use the Upgrade by Network option for updates on my boxes. Im looking to be able to upgrade software and/or channel lists over network without using the LAN tool. I have opened a free web server account and put the .abs and .dbs files in the root directory so they are clearly visible, however....

I cannot seem to make the box download either of these files. It simply says checking configuration file..
No valid firmware!

Could someone point me in the right direction? thank you!

Not sure if you can do this with the F5s box

i defo know you couldn't do it with the F3 or F5 this was a job via USB only

You can only do it by USB or Lan tool
