Set a timer and make sure it started to record, upon trying to watch recording back its a black screen for 3 and half hours?

what box are you using?.
I have tried to record ppv boxing in the past on a skybox f3 and got the same result as yourself.
was the actually ppv channel visible on your tv?.
I have been told that ppv channels on some events are not a recordable content due to the encryption that sly use due to copyright issues.
so this may be the case. -
Mines a Skybox F5. Don't usually have any problems with other PPVs on Sly Sports B.O.
Is this encryption new as it always works for Raw and Smackdown?Comment

see if you can play back the file on you pc.

Tried to record Sly S 3 again and it is recording however on playback the hashtag is blurred out but on live tv it can be clearly seen :/Comment
