f3 help please

hi friend has bricked his f3 by uploading a channel list, when he gave it me it just said load on the display, since then ive read all tuts on how to recover and now have it loading it gets to 97 then reboots on a loop, have seen other people with same problem, im at a loss with it have tried numerous firmware and backups but still the same, help please

The display doesn't light up when flashing with recovery software. Is the loader recognising the box?

no it was after upgrade, every other firmware loads up to 97, just downloading all firmwares from skybox website

There was a batch of F3 boxes that refused to load any other firmware than the version that it came with, the box you have is more than likely one of them.
The firmware version your looking for is 3601HD_14_01_2013_0F23 I never managed to find it on any of the normal firmware sites, and the best your likely to get is someone to give you a backup off their box. The positives is there are going to be people who have the firmware as they can't upgrade to nothing else
