Help please. How to resore from backup?

I tried to upgrade my firmware on my skybox f3 and somehow got it wrong. All the premium channels remained scrambled. Fortunately (I hope) before I attempted this I backed up my box using these instructions.

    "select 'TOOLS'
    select 'DUMP BY USB'
on new window, make sure 'DUMP MODE' reads 'Image file.(*.abs) and select start
do it again, but this time use remote arrow keys to select 'Misc Files'
Press ok on 'SELECT AND DUMP' and place a tick by everything in there, then press yellow button on remote 'DUMP'
you can then remove stick and copy all your backed up info to pc
Its good practice to do this everytime you change something on box."

I then tried to restore my box using the the above method only choosing to "upgrade" instead of "dump. However the premium channels still remain scrambled!!

What am I doing wrong? Wish I hadn't bothered now:-(

    Thanks

Check to see if you have DHCP turned on.

Also go and check if your line is online.

Do both as tshuma says above

      check..DHCP menu/network settings/ethernet/switch on apply/reboot box....
check if your active...menu/C****s/manage/highlight whats in there & press ok (you should now have a green tick)/reboot box

      job done

Just a quick one for both above a quick refresh of the Forum Rules might be a good idea before posting again (line 6 comes to mind)

i think the gift is stored in an area of flash not normally saved by your method.
