F5/F3

Hello all, i had a f5 box that has gone dead (power) and told it is knackered, i have my old f3 box that i ain't used for 8mth, it still has gift on it but do i need to put new firmware in it or just channel list?
Any help is much appreciated.

If it is working no need upgrade frmware just the channel list lot of channel have move in the last 8 months.

Thanks buddy, got the channel list in but i guess the gift has run out, getting all but premium channels

If you had a gift on F5 and made a back up of it you would be able to put it in your F3.
