Just done a recovery on F3 amen

But now I'm having other problems no 28.2 east! I load latest firmware and aj news channel list adult sd them it goes off again and I need to do another recovery. Also like I say I can't get 28.2 so can't do a sat search thanks guys.

Hi if you have loaded Aj's latest list no need to do a sat search...
if you have just done a factory reset

You need to turn the DCHP back on....menu/network settings/ethernet/turn it on & apply/reboot box

Ok I get that thanks, what I did s a full recovery then put latest firmware on then aj channel list and no channels then I go to sat search and 28.2 not there can't get signal.

Can you go to single sat search then just do a blind scan ? it should just scan 28 automatically

This might make more sense when I've done recovery my display panel says noch and goes on to menu so then I go to USB to put the files on ie aj list and latest firmware then I reboot then is bricks again!

Dunno mate have you tried a different usb stick ?

Update the firmware 1st reboot the box...then put Aj's list on the box then reboot it
all should work well then

I guess you have searched with out updating channels first ?

Whats the file name of the firmware you are using....??
how old is the box ...is it a clone (do you know)

If you are loading a new firmware theres no need to do a factory reset....the new firmware will over write everything anyway
once you have loaded the new firmware...you should only need to load the channels list & reboot the box

Use the firmware below i have reset many boxes with it....this includes dead boxes

I tried that and that didn't work all what I needed to do was a recovery which didn't work on my computer tower for some reson so used my new Samsung laptop with r232 USB converter which worked first time! Then just add aj's channel list then reboot then worked fine, when I tried to sat search or add firmware and then add channel list it just kept going dead!, why it first went dead is because I upgraded AJ's channel list without deleting old one first and when it went to boot it was stuck on load!! Which to be fair I have done it that way some many times before without a problem, don't no if its because its a new box but its working now! I did get a old spiderbox out to see if I could recovery that but still no joy with that, but that's not dead it's just flashing rf I can still get picture on that but when I try to use remorte or change channel it just goes to menu and does its own thing!

a blindscan should find channels.
if it doesn't,the settings for switches/lnbs are wrong or something is radically wrong with the receiver.
